here is my set up.. its not what you are after but does show the use of pwm repeaters... 32 fans.. 1 commander pro

The best way to configure fans, controllers, and an AIO

My mobo has two USB 2.0 headers and I think that I have just about tried every configuration, including the following:

The scariest thing about Apple’s announcement

Mi pregunta es la siguiente: ¿Si conecto 6 ventiladores QL120 (34x6=204 leds + 160 leds de las tiras = 364 leds. Commander XT soporta 264 leds), funcionarían todos los leds? I have interest in the "Commander Pro vs XT" as well. I have 13 fans in my current 1000D build. The case comes with a Commander Pro, but it appears ( at least to me ) the the Commander Core XT *might* be a better solution than the Commander Pro. Why? Here are my thoughts: Hey' can anyone help me with a issue I'm having which I noticed after replacing the first Faulty Fan.

Commander CORE XT Software keeps disconnecting Corsair ICUE Commander CORE XT Software keeps disconnecting

Primeramente pedir disculpas si este tema no va aquí y seguido, como expondré el texto traducido al ingles, mis disculpas nuevamente si está mal traducido. Buy a couple of selfpowered fan hubs (like the one you linked) and group each radiator's fan so they act the same. This will take up 3 CoPro's ports. You will have to use the Commander Core as one controller since it is required to power/control the Elite series AIO. That's not a problem and it gives you 6 PWM and 6 RGB ports on the other side. The Lighting Node Core that comes with the case can be saved for later expansion or something else. SOLUTION: I figured "Hey, maybe the Core XT cant handle the PWM, since its disconnecting under workload". So I put every PWM-Connector, except for 2, on a PWM-Splitter... And it worked. No more disconnects since then. In the 5000X, you should have the hardware you need unless you are ready to add RGB strips. Those types of devices require a Pro controllers. The Core controllers only accept fans by default.

Example - iCUE 5000x RGB withH150i Elite LCD (XT) and 4x QL120 RGB fans

Don't buy anything and connect the rear fan to a mobo's header. This won't allow you to control the rear fan through iCue.

How to: Set up your COMMANDER CORE XT – Corsair

yes the commander core and pro are different, if you dont think so then you are an idiot. the Core can handle 6 fans completely with the PWM and RGB. the Pro can handle 6 fans for power, 2 for RGB 4 temp sensors and 2 9 pin internal USB hubs. This is also my first time building a PC, so forgive my ignorance. I've always bought pre-built gaming systems in the past, but thought I would finally give it a shot myself. Turns out, it can get pretty confusing lol. Assuming you have the COMMANDER CORE (which comes with ELITE CAPELLIX) and COMMANDER CORE XT, that wouldn't be a bad configuration at all - having six fans on one controller and the remaining on the other. We've got a new controller that centralizes command over your case fans and RGB lighting! We're happy to introduce to you the COMMANDER CORE XT. Here are a few highlights: With the above wiring guide, you can see how to connect an H150i ELITE LCD XT AIO with 4x QL120 RGB fans. The diagram was designed around this example, but the principles can easily be used for other configurations, too. Here's a breakdown of what's going on.

Typical Apple Innovation…

I should receive a H150i Elite soon. soon as its in my hands i will be able get some diagrams up and have more details to share. Since multiple Core XTs can be used, I plan to use 2 XT to run 13 fans. Note that 3 fans will be controlled by the AIO, with the remaining 10 connected to the Core XT ( I think 😉 ). A: You do not. Similar to the Commander PRO, the COMMANDER CORE XT plugs into an available SATA power cable from your PSU and USB header on your motherboard.

CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT Smart RGB Lighting and Fan

Plus the PSU, but I'm happy to not have this controlled by iCue for the moment, as on the 280X case I have it will be out of sight anyway.

THE BRAINS OF THE OUTFIT

Another option would be to mount the RGB fans on the TOP of the case but I'd need some sort of extender for the top glass... it is possible I suppose. It'd need a roughly 30mm lift to fit the fans between the top of the outer case and the bottom of the glass. Connect a CORSAIR RGB Fan LED Hub (sold separately) to control lighting for up to 6x additional RGB fans
