Use the thumbs up and thumbs down icons to agree or disagree that the title is similar to Dawn of the Dead. In setting the film in a mall and watching how possessive and corrupted the characters get over their horde of ‘stuff’, Romero adds a healthy dose of satire surrounding consumerism. gallery with rare promotional imagery; press conference from the premiere of the 4K restoration in Venice 2016 (33min); home videos from the set with commentary by Ralph Langer (13min); trailers; audio commentary with Claudio Simonetti; Super 8 version (45min); further extras tbc. As is to be expected from a vintage source and small production such as this, all three come with their share of soft, blurry moments, with the Cannes extended cut and Argento's version seeming a bit more apparent.

Turn your back on a corpse and it'll take a bite out of your arm or crawl towards you and chew on your leg, and anyone bitten by a zombie is quickly transformed into one themselves.Despite the more monochrome color palette of the film, the remaster allows for every available color to pop. Finally, there is a softcover novelization of the film written by Romero and Susanna Sparrow with an introduction by actor Simon Pegg. Memories of Monroeville: A tour of the mall – New 30 minute feature with Michael Gornick, Tom Savini, Tom Dubensky and Taso Stavrakis revisiting the famous mall. PLEASE NOTE ROYAL MAIL CAN NO LONGER GUARANTEE THAT '48 HOUR TRACKED' PARCELS WILL BE DELIVERED WITHIN 48 HOURS.I just watched the theatrical cut all the way through and caught glimpses of the others while I listened to their commentaries. The horror is still there though, and even if there aren’t any jump scares or particularly tense stand-offs, the film is still disturbing at times. His work here maybe isn’t as refined as his later work, but this is purely due to the sheer volume of effects in the film.
